Esohe Eigbike Nee Iyamu

Chairperson Board of Trustees
(Head Executive Committee)

Esohe is a development professional committed to outcome focused programming to deliver development impact and advance social justice.

She is a hands-on Board member/ chairperson and she heads the executive committee that oversees the day to day running of the organization as well with almost 20 years of professional experience in the UK, Nigeria and beyond.

Esohe received her undergraduate degree and MPhil degrees from At John’s College, Cambridge and certification in leadership from The Tanaka School of Business at imperial College.

In her professional life she has worked across various sectors including education, research, public sector, management, consulting, energy and natural resources and journalism.

she has supported research and innovation systems strengthening, including response to COVID 19; led teams to design, manage, evaluate and improve inclusive education programmes in complex governance environments, including fragile and conflict affected contexts; supported strategy and organizational reviews foe energy companies and led marginalized students to success as a secondary school teacher.

She is currently serving as West African Regional  Adviser at UK Foreign Commonwealth and Development Office.

Ogholi Alero Sandra

Director ( Innovator)

Ogholi Alero S. is a passionate social entrepreneur and women rights advocate.

She has a first degree in English Language and Education from The University of Abuja. In 2016 she Founded Rural Development and Reformation Foundation (RUDERF) 

https://www.ruderfngo.org, a non- profit organization, focused on the development of women/ girls and advocating for access to basic literacy skills for all children in the Niger- delta.

Ogholi Alero S. Her work with RUDERF inspired her to launch the social enterprise OLEJU in early 2017 to better serve the needs of rural women.

A few awards and training she has received includes the following; in 2017/2018 She became a Leap Africa Social Innovators Program and Outstanding Fellows Award recipient.

A Young African Leaders Initiative (YALI) Fellow . A 2018 Northwestern University, Chicago, Illinois, Global Engagement Summit Delegate and 2019/2020 delegate Ambassador, where she won the global pitch competition and Global Giving Accelerator Mentorship.

She was inaugurated as 1 of 25 Beijing eaglets of United Nation Women Nigeria, to champion the cause of women in Nigeria for the next 25 years.  She is also an alumnus of the China Europe Business School, Enterprise and Leadership Program 2019, hosted by Leading Ladies Africa. She is currently a 2020 Global Good Fund, LEAP Fellow.

Eseigbe, Ohimai Ebahi

Accounting Officer

Ebahi is a chartered accountant with over 7 years of active experience in accounting and financial planning and management.

She graduated with degrees including Accounting (B.Sc., M.Sc., ACA), Strategic Planning and Management (MBA).

She is a seasoned professional with a successful track record of managing major financial structures in the oil and gas sector, development and public sector finance management and business administration.

She manages all OLEJU financial activities and ensures effective and transparent finance recording.

Her core responsibilities includes, maintenance of expense ledgers, preparing budgets, management and control report.

She also oversees the preparation of fixed asset registers and fixed asset ledgers, general organization’s account management among others.

Enudi Irene Onyeka

Program Coordinator

Onyeka Enudi Irene is an economics graduate from Caritas University Enugu, Nigeria.

She has over 6 years of professional experience in the development space.

Irene started her career in the development space with RUDERF as a project assistant and has grown into a projects coordinator in a short time because of her passion, commitment, resourcefulness and ability to deliver effective and life changing impact to the target beneficiaries.

She has led various teams to successfully implement strategic solutions with proven results and continues to strengthen the work of OLEJU in her current role.

Ayu Alero

Training /Product Development Specialist

Alero Ayu is a university graduate of law with extensive experience in legal research, international development with special emphasis on sustainable development.

Her law degree spans areas such as criminal law, intellectual property law, among others. Alero is the Training/Program development strategist of the OLEJU safe space and her roles include researching and updating effective methods for implementing our core goals in finance and digital learning opportunities for women.

Alero has 3 years of experience working in the development space, in various roles ranging from volunteer, intern to part-time engagements where she honed her passion for the development of women and girls, which makes her a very valuable team player and program coordinator.

Alero is also member of the LAWSAN Advocacy Academy.
